The Northshore Jewish Community is a 120 family synagogue situated on the North Shore of Lake Ponchetrain about 30 miles from downtown New Orleans. Affiliated with the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, NJC is a family -oriented congregation that grew out of a chavurah in order to bring Jewish life to the North shore and to create a dynamic environment in which to raise our children. We are eleven years old and very proud to be residing in a beautiful building just North of the Causeway at 1403 N. Causeway Blvd. Mandeville LA, Just under the blue Mandeville water tower.
