Religious School
Our religious school holds classes for children in grades Kindergarten through 10th Grade. Classes meet every Sunday morning, starting in September, from 9:30 to 11:30 unless otherwise noted on our congregational Calendar. From time to time, special events are held.
The NJC religious school runs on a unique curricular system. Our teachers, all of whom are volunteers, develop 6-session long units on topics of interest and appropriateness to grade level. As a result, our students learn about a variety of topics from teachers who are truly invested in their subject area.

In addition to being a religious school for our congregation's children, NJC is also a satellite campus for the Greater New Orleans Communal Hebrew School. More information about Communal can be obtained at www.jewishnola.org.
